My Journey
I received my Clinical Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy in 2015, but my relationship with neurodivergence began as a very personal one. That’s because as a child I struggled with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) and Learning Disabilities.

I didn’t have the benefit of a therapist, and like you I had to learn how to navigate my neurodivergence and to thrive on my own terms.
Unfortunately, adults who are neurodivergent have been traditionally underdiagnosed and underserved. Even now, it’s incredibly difficult to find Adult OT services.

So in 2021, while working as a pediatric occupational therapist, I helped develop an Adult OT program. Since then, I’ve made it my mission to offer services to adults who need it most, and I feel deeply honored by every person that has allowed me into their life, and into their hearts.

DOCTOr OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

I’m proud to call Pacific University my alma mater. I received my Clinical Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2015. It was always my dream to find a way to apply my passion for learning about sensory processing and supporting the often under-recognized, and underserved neurodivergent adult population.
STAR TRAINED THERAPIST

As a STAR Trained therapist, I have a deep clinical understanding of sensory processing and how our bodies ability to effectively process sensory information impacts our functioning. The STAR Model has taught me a strength, and relationship-based approach when educating and collaborating with my clients. Using the STAR approach my goal is to help adults find more regulation throughout their day so that they can navigate their world with greater ease and Joy.
ADULT OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY PROGRAM

During my time as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist I was given the opportunity to hone my skills, and expand an Adult Therapy Program at Bright Spot. It was my honor to realize my dream of being able to serve this population.
